El sufrimiento del migrante: la migración cubana en el sueño ecuatoriano de la libre movilidad

Resumen
Este trabajo explora la tensión entre el concepto del sufrimiento en el discurso humanista frente a la migración mantenido durante el mandato de Rafael Correa y la experiencia de los inmigrantes cubanos en Ecuador. A pesar del discurso revolucionario recogido en la Constitución ecuatoriana, los migrantes cubanos sufren una triple discriminación: social, económica y legal, en el contexto de las políticas migratorias tanto de Ecuador como de Cuba. El artículo aporta a la literatura sobre la migración y el sufrimiento y, a la vez, a la emergente literatura sobre la brecha discursiva existente en la liberalización de las políticas migratorias de América Latina.Referencias
