Actitudes y comportamientos de mujeres de clase alta limeña sobre el trabajo doméstico en el contexto de la pandemia por covid-19

Resumen
La pandemia por covid-19 generó cambios en los comportamientos y las actitudes de 17 empleadoras (casadas durante la década de los 50 y 60) de clase alta limeña que entrevistamos cuando se vieron en la necesidad de prescindir de trabajadoras del hogar por miedo al contagio. Argumentamos que las empleadoras se adaptaron a los cambios de modo positivo porque desarrollaron estrategias para liberarse del trabajo repetitivo y duro que realizaban las trabajadoras del hogar antes de la pandemia. Encontramos actitudes diversas sobre el trabajo doméstico como categoría ocupacional, las labores del hogar y quienes las ejecutan: las empleadoras, sus esposos y las trabajadoras del hogar.Referencias
